God-fearing doesn't mean that :) As Christians, we are taught to depend on God and not fear anything else except for Him. God-fearing doesn't directly mean, oh I'm so afraid of God that I'll follow STRICTLY by the rules. Christians sin as well, we're all humans and we make mistakes. Being a Christian and being religious, that's about maintaining and having a relationship with God, fearing God isn't being afraid of the consequences, it's just accepting that He's a greater being than us? humans.

Not sure about that "god-fearing" is a good trait. There are groups of people who? fear god and do what god say by doing suicidal bomb or create weapon of destruction for his god like Frtiz Haber who went nuts after converting to Catholic. I agree with you about the rest. But the "god-fearing", I just leave it as ambiguity gray trait. If it affects him to be a fully open- minded person till the upcoming future, then we talk.

besides how many harvards and princetons had the wisdom? to warn us about the crisis we were about to step into in 2007, a few years before it happened? there is a reason why people are increasingly turning a sarcastic eye toward major institutions. you have to back up those talk at some point, besides giving obama all those nobel prizes.
